Gaza Tax Strike

Frequently Asked Questions

But I thought the US was helping? Aren't we dropping humanitarian aid?

You must be joking. The US has vetoed several UN ceasefire resolutions, and even Biden's "red line" over Rafah came with a no-strings-attached promise to continue supplying Israel with weapons even if the red line is breached (which Israel did within a day or so of the announcement).

The aid port currently being proposed sounds like a good idea, but it is taking weeks to execute, while Israel thunders ahead with its planned extermination campaign.

This isn’t a genocide!

Just days after it started, noted Israeli Holocaust scholar Raz Segal was already calling it a “textbook case of genocide” – we think he knows the subject better than you do.

But what about October 7? What about the hostages?

Brave IDF veterans have come forward alleging that there is no way Israel could have been caught off-guard on Oct. 7. Israel’s support is the only reason that Hamas controls Gaza in the first place. It seems (judging by the memes on social media) that they planned to develop it into condos after the extermination was complete.

In any case, the best available evidence suggests that the IDF killed at least as many Israelis on Oct. 7 as Hamas did, with its indiscriminate return fire, and has probably killed more hostages than Hamas with its indiscriminate bombing campaigns.

Is there any way I can help?

Yes! You can help spread the message on social media, and with your friends and family in real life. Please reach out to us at gazataxstrike [at] proton [dot] me (no hate mail, please) if you’d like to get involved.

What comes next?

Ultimately, we want to see a peaceful change into a better world. But right now the situation in Gaza is dire and urgent. All available nonviolent pressure must be brought to bear. Stay tuned for further updates.
